Rules for playing online – Bomen
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These rules apply when you play Bomen online. You accept them in the app before you play online for the first time. Bomen is made by Unstabieley Games (sole proprietorship of Bradley Zom, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 42195676).
- Age. Online play is for everyone aged 13 and over.
- Your name. Choose a decent name. Names that hurt, insult, discriminate, are sexual, contain someone else's personal details, or pretend to be the game or its staff are not allowed.
- No chat. Players can only send preset reactions ("Nice!", "Oops", and so on).
- Play fair. Cheating, teaming up (telling each other your cards) and misusing the game or the server are not allowed.
- Report and block. You can report another player's name (from the players at the table) and block players. You can also report something by email, for example if you think something is illegal; say which name it is about and why.
- How we check names. New names are checked automatically for swear words and the like. A name reported by at least 3 players from at least 2 different games is hidden automatically; reports from players who often report wrongly count for less, so reporting someone just to annoy them doesn't work. You then choose a new name (not the same one). If your name is removed 3 times within half a year, you play on for a while as "Player" with a number, without a name of your own; this ends by itself. The administrator can also remove or restore a name by hand.
- You are told why. If your name is removed, the app tells you so and why (after reports, under rules 2 and 6, automatically).
- Disagree with a decision? Email us within six months. A person looks at it and you get an answer. If it was wrong, you get your name back. You can always go to court as well.
- Consequences. Anyone who repeatedly or seriously breaks these rules can be excluded from online play. That decision is always made by a person.
- No guarantee. We do our best to keep online play available, but can't promise it. Running games can be lost, for example during maintenance.
- Your data. See the privacy policy. You can delete your online data yourself in the app at any time.
- Changes. If these rules change, we update the date at the top. For big changes the app asks you to accept them again.
